Tastings

Tasting tables are for guests 21 and up.

Visit Thursday through Monday between 11am and 5pm and enjoy our award-winning wines, and unique wine tasting experience. Enjoy sitting at one of our cozy tasting tables while our wine educators present a fun, unique, and delicious wine tasting experience!

A standard tasting consists of 6 fine wines perfectly paired with small gourmet food bites. Tastings are seated, and conducted by a dedicated wine server who provides a fun, educational overview of our wines over the course of 15 – 20 minutes, for a truly unique and great tasting experience.

Standard tasting of 6 wines: $20 per person for 1 – 6 guests

Standard tastings for a group of 6 or more quests requires a reservation 24 hours in advance.

We are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Group Tastings

Effective August 30, 2022, Reservations are Required for Groups of  6 or more guests. Group maximum is 15 guests. Group reservations are required Mon, Thur, Fri, Sat and Sun.

Reservations must be made in advance. Please call 703-771-1197 to make a reservation. We are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Food

Stop by and enjoy our fine wines perfectly paired with small, gourmet food bites, created by local chefs and food artisans. Among these tasty bites, we offer Gluten Free and Vegetarian options.

We offer cheese and charcuterie plates as well as a la carte food items such as fresh-baked baguettes, gourmet cheeses and spreads, salami, prosciutto, chocolates, and other refreshments for sale for guests to enjoy with our wines.

*NEW* Beginning April 1, 2022 outside food may be consumed out on the grounds only, not inside the Tasting Room. We continue to have light fare to enjoy inside, and you may still bring your own snacks and picnics for outside. No aromatic foods, please. No large coolers are allowed. 

Tasting Plate of the Month

In March, we celebrate the Celtic Nations. Beginning Thursday, February 29
The six regions that claim a Celtic language are Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, and Brittany. Some of these languages had become nearly extinct and have been saved through dedicated revitalization efforts. We celebrate all of them this month with our tasting plate. Sláinte!

Children

16 years old and older are now permitted in the adult areas upstairs and sail patio areas.
Children are not permitted in the main tasting room without adult supervision.

Children are not permitted to sit at the tasting bar. 

We have a dedicated family area set aside for groups with children. Please remember that the children must stay within arm’s reach of an adult in your group, and must be accompanied by an adult when entering the tasting room. Children do count in your group’s total number. Groups may be no more than 15 people in total for our outside seating only.

 

Grounds and Facilities

We have many lovely outdoor seating areas throughout our grounds where customers can enjoy our wines. We have a limited number of outdoor seating with fire pits, they are first come first served only. We continue to have plenty of guest seating outside, and our tables and seating areas are well-spaced to provide better than the minimum distance between groups. Groups may be of no more than 15 people in our outside seating only.

Dogs are welcome on our outdoor grounds. Dogs are not permitted inside the tasting room. They must stay on a leash at all times, and the leash must be held by an adult. Please bring water and a bowl for your dog as under the current Virginia regulations we are not allowed to give out cups (or bowls) of water.

Limos, Buses and Other Chartered Transportation

Groups of more than 6 guests require a reservation. We aren’t accepting groups without a prior reservation. Groups of no more than 15 are permitted in our outside seating.
