Gold is good!

Here is a brief note to y’all about this weekend and how we are doing:

Harvest Saturday: If you are coming out to pick some grapes on Saturday, please be ready for the weather. It is going to be sunny and warm so be prepared. Also, please bring clippers if you have them. I have some but not enough for all if there are lots of people. We will be crushing the fruit as well as harvesting, so it should be a great opportunity for fun and learning.

Awards: The Virginia Governor’s Cup winners were just announced and the 2006 Chambourcin won a gold Medal!! Also the Cabernet Franc took a Silver, and Bronze medals went to both the Raspberry Merlot and the Tre Sorelle. This is our first gold medal of hopefully many more to come. Thanks again to the blending team who can put together some nice wines.

Website: We are still having some issues with Fabbioli.com, use fabbioliwines.com to access our website. I am hoping for resolution soon but there is no certainty.

Festival: The festival at Morven Park was very good for us but needs some work with the logistics through the organizers. I will be involved in helping these folks improve it so any thoughts you can pass to me as customers, I will be sure to forward.
